After hearing so many great things about Ragu I had to give it a try, and I was blown away. The owners Jason and Raquel are the most beautiful and kindest people. They didn't just take my order like every other place, they really took the time to figure out what I was craving and recommended the right dish for me.....which is PHENOMENAL. I got a few dishes which were all *chefs kiss* which even tasted as good the next day. This is such a hidden gem that everyone needs to experience. Amazing job Ragu team

In a word, YUM!! And, the friendliest group you’ll ever be greeted by. What a sweet experience - so personal, always finding ways to make a connection - so welcome and unexpected in our hustle bustle world. So, we’re a little late discovering this hidden gem on The Queensway. Yep, a little hard to spot, but once you do, you’ll find it as irresistible as we do now. And we’re just 4 pastas in. We started a week ago as a drop in, learned some of the history, and got a great feel for the wonderful people running the show at Ragu. Walked away with Boo-boo and the daily special. Oh, and the kale salad. Everything was terrific. The kale salad, if you like a Caesar, this is for you! And tonight we Ubered Gigi and Neptune - both outstanding. And of course, the kale salad. What a great spot for fresh, made-to-order and made in-house pasta, from the friendliest team, right here in our backyard. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Absolutely love what I just had at Ragu! You can really taste the difference that fresh ingredients make compared to pastas other restaurants produce. I tried two dishes and both were outstanding. The Biggie: baked macaroni in a spicy Bomba cheese cream sauce with a crispy breadcrumb topping. It was rich in flavour, but surprisingly not heavy at all. The balance of spice and creaminess was spot on. I also added chicken to mine which was very juicy. I also had the Fabio, which was focaccia topped with garlic and basil pesto, and melted mozzarella. It was light, fragrant, and full of fresh, herby flavour. Every bite tasted homemade in the best way. This pasta, in my opinion, is some of the best Toronto has to offer, at prices that you almost feel bad that you're paying so little for. Also, the custom handwritten note on the takeout bag was nice to read prior to trying the food. Can't wait to try more dishes! For some reason Google is not allowing me to post photos, but I will as soon as the issue is fixed!

I can’t believe I didn’t know this was here! I pass by Ragu almost every day, and I finally realized what it was. Passed by here for lunch during the week and it was SO GOOD. 10/10. Tried the booboo, so good! And it’s a lot of food, ended up taking the rest for lunch the next day. The bread they give you with the pasta is also made in house and delicious. This is a take out only restaurant with a few tables outside in the front. I’ll definitely be back to try the other pastas!

The Ragu team was awesome! I had called earlier about substituting an ingredient for dietary reasons and they were very accommodating. Friendly service, 5/5. The pasta itself was so fresh, and all the ingredients were bursting with flavour. So glad to have found a place like this, I’m looking forward to trying all their pastas.

The handmade pasta was so fresh and the sauce was delicious. Bread was also super fresh. The prices are great and it’s definitely the best pasta in Toronto. Service was amazing as well, they made a mistake with my order but quickly rectified it. Thank you!

Honestly one of the best spots for pasta I’ve found. It’s really hard to come across a place that does fresh pasta this well, at this price, and also serves halal meat!! The noodles are always cooked perfectly, super fresh and al dente, just the way they should be. The sauces pack a ton of flavour without being over the top. My go-to is the Biggie with chicken. Easily the best thing on the menu. Good portions, super satisfying, and it just hits every time. If you like pasta, you’ll love this place.

Allora! for over two decades, Chef Jason’s pastas at Giancarlo were part of my weekly calendar (ABC) To see those iconic dishes like the Limone and Ragù reborn at Ragu on The Queensway is nothing short of outstanding. This chef-driven catering and pickup concept is pure Italian soul food, fresh pasta perfectly suited for people who want real food without compromise. Chapeau, Chef — la tua arte è sempre viva.
